10 injured in New York bus accident

Bus accidents can involve many victims and many injuries. They are almost always unexpected. Many New Yorkers likely take the bus because they consider it a safe and convenient mode of transportation. Riders probably do not ever anticipate being in an accident on their morning commutes or whenever they choose to take the bus. However, these accidents are not all that uncommon. Many have been in the unfortunate position of being injured in a bus accident.
A recent accident in New York involved a bus and an airport shuttle. According to reports, the airport shuttle sped through a red light only a short time before colliding with the New York City bus. Ten people were injured as a result of the traffic accident.
A spokesman for the police said that the Ford van, which was travelling east, did not stop at the red light. The van then struck a bus that was trying to make a left turn. The bus driver suffered a leg injury that was considered serious, and he was transported to a nearby hospital. Thankfully, his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The crash occurred on a Friday night. The spokesman also said that it is not yet clear what the exact nature of the charges the driver of the van could face. According to reports, the driver of the van and eight other occupants suffered minor injuries in the crash. The bus was not in service when the accident occurred.
